I just noticed that the song from the new MacBook Air commercial is now the #1 selling song in iTunes. Whoa. Did that song/album launch the same time as the commercial? Or is this an old song and the commercial pushed it to the top of the iTunes chart? Does anyone know the deal? Either way, very interesting…(see commercial below)

It looks like her album came out in France back in October and is being released here in March. The video for this song has been on YouTube for over 5 months. I would say the commercial is definitely the driving force behind the iTunes sales in the US, I don’t think the single is out here yet!

hi heidi! Yael Naim must be super stoked that Apple chose to feature that song in that commercial. seems like a really good deal for both of them. i think that song is perfect for the commercial too!
