How do you introduce a new product in a truly remarkable way that appeals to exactly the type of people who would buy it…and start lots of conversations about it? (like this blog post) Seth Godin did it with milk cartons.
I read his book “Purple Cow” long before I knew about the milk cartons…but if the milk cartons had not helped spread the word to the right people - who knows, maybe I wouldn’t have ended up reading his book. Maybe his book wouldn’t have been sitting featured front and center on the shelf in a Portland bookstore where I bought it? Good book by the way, milk carton or not.
