Memory Card Hell

I recently bought one of these, and it is not working with my camera!

I have tried to re-format the memory card, but I think it has made my problem worse? I have tried both the FAT and FAT32 formats (I don’t know the difference) and they both don’t work. I either get memory card errors or when I don’t get errors I can’t get the pictures off the card on my computer. My other memory cards are working fine. I have a 512MB Kingston and it works great, but for some reason this high-capacity 2GB Kingston is not working.

Anyone know what’s up? Is the card too big for my camera? Is the card defective? PLEASE leave a comment if you know…
