During breakfast today I read a cool article in the latest issue of Fast Company. As I sometimes do with dead-tree publications I read when I see a cool article…I’ll find the article online at their website and share it with a few people I think would like it. But, FastCompany.com doesn’t have the article I read in their magazine today on their website yet (or I can’t find it, just as bad). Shouldn’t every magazine/periodical (that wants to survive) have all their articles easily accessible online the moment they go to print? Better yet, why not have a shortcut web link to the online version of the article prominently listed in the article someplace? Does Fast Company think they’ll sell more magazines this way or something? Seriously what is the logic. Some magazines are doing a good job of this, Fast Company, not so much.
